Tea and coffee play an important part in Turkish culture and have always been at the heart of political and social interaction. For centuries, men have gathered in coffee houses to discuss and debate the pertinent issues of the day, whilst women have socialised with friends and colleagues during afternoon tea, and today the bustling streets of Turkey are filled with a variety of cafes and tea gardens. With such a background, it should come as no surprise that one of the main objectives we had when designing our cafe was to make it as inviting and relaxing a space as possible, and with its light, airy interior and stunning views over the Wharf, we believe the Hazev Cafe achieves just that. Incorporated within our Cafe is a Deli, serving a wide range of delicious foods. The assortment of hot and cold meze dishes and soups are prepared daily on site using only the freshest of ingredients, the scintillating selection of pastries, pies and quiches are baked every morning, and the sandwiches and wraps are handmade each day. There is also a mouth-watering array of homemade sweet treats available, all of which are the perfect accompaniment to our freshly brewed teas and coffees. Such variety is what makes The Hazev Cafe and Deli the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, or a light snack at any time throughout the day. Furthermore, if you’re unable to stay, our staff will quickly package all your chosen delicacies so that you can take them away with you to enjoy at your leisure.
